Hey There!

I’m Kristin and I am a self proclaimed Disney Addict and Disney planning expert.

Ok, but who am I?

I come from a HUGE family of Disney fanatics; all thanks to my Grammie who shared her love for Disney with all of us. Growing up in Northern California, I visited Disneyland numerous times a year. Waking up at 2am, only to sleep in the van while my Papa drove us down to Anaheim so we could be at the gates when the park opened at 8am. We would run through the park all day long, hop back in the van and head home. I’ve gone for class trips, Grad Nite and even danced in the Main Street parade with my high school dance company. Needless to say, I have been to Disneyland more times than I can count.

Now as a wife and mother, I have passed on my love for Disney to my sons and husband. We started taking our kids in 2013 and haven’t been able to stay away ever since. After my husband’s service in the United States Air Force, we moved to the North East…way far away from my “home park”.

Christmas 2016, I visited Walt Disney World for the very first time. I was totally blown away with how different is was in comparison to Disneyland when it came to size, getting around, dining options, and the fast pass system. This trip reignited my love and passion for Disney.

Walking down Main Street and rounding the corner to see Cinderella Castle for the first time, I was awestruck. I’ll never forget the first time I took my husband to Disneyland and he saw Sleeping Beauty Castle and he said “THAT’S IT?!”. I finally understood what he was talking about.

I will always have a great love for Disneyland. For all my childhood memories and the nostalgia, it will forever be my “home park”. But as a mom and planner, I have an even greater appreciation for the planning aspects at Walt Disney World. And this is where the “snob” part comes in. I love Disney and love being in the parks. But I do not enjoy long lines, pushy people and no day-of dining reservations. I’ve also been to many other theme parks and I just always find myself wishing I was at Disney. Their efficiency, attention to detail and cast members set them above and beyond any other theme park. And if that makes me a snob, then I’ll wear that badge proudly.

Writing this blog has been something I’ve talked about for way too long and I told myself, finally I’m going to make it happen. With all my trips to Disneyland and Walt Disney World, I have an extensive amount of experience in the parks. As a kid, an adult, a parent with little ones and now with school age kids. I’ve helped countless friends and family plan trips and offer my knowledge so that they don’t have a miserable time. So please, I hope you enjoy all my thoughts and tips. This is a passion of mine and in no way am I a professional. Just a fellow Disney lover, sharing my experiences to others.

Spreading magic, one post at a time
