Disney Military Promotional Tickets – aka Military Salute
Often referred to as the Disney Armed Forces Salute tickets, the Disney Military Promotional tickets are deeply discounted tickets for Active Duty, Retired, National Guard, Reservists, and 100% Disabled Veterans (and few other branches). Eligible Service Member ID card examples and eligibility requirements are below.
**Starting January 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. Military Promotional Tickets (AKA Salute Tickets) are NOT date-based tickets and therefore will still require a theme park reservation.

The 2025 Walt Disney World Military Promotional Tickets will be available for purchase beginning October 23th, 2024.

2025 Walt Disney World Military Promotional Tickets are valid from January 1, 2025 – December 19, 2025. Blackout Dates: April 13, 2025 through April 26, 2025 and November 23, 2025 through November 29, 2025.
Non-Promotional Disney Military Discounted Tickets
The other option for Disney Military Discounted tickets is the Non-Promotional (Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets). Unlike the Military Salute tickets, Non-Promotional tickets are available for ALL types of Service Members. Honorably Discharged Veterans can purchase these discounted tickets*. These tickets are also available to any Service Member who is eligible to purchase the Military Salute tickets.
*Guests using their DD214 to qualify for discounted tickets can only purchase tickets in person in January or September UNLESS they’re staying at Shades of Green. Then they can purchase their tickets 30 days prior to their check-in date at Shades of Green.
Where to buy discounted tickets?
Military Salute tickets can be purchased at Shades of Green or a base MWR/ITT office.
You can also check with your local base MWR & ITT offices to see if they sell the party tickets. If you aren’t stationed near a base that has an MWR/ITT office or not near a base. I recommend Naval Air Station Corpus Christi MWR. MWR Corpus Christi is always happy to help, knowledgeable, and can process your party tickets over the phone.
