2026 Universal Military Discounts
If you are planning on purchasing Universal Military Discounted tickets, for 2025 it’s a good idea to know what types of tickets are available and/or what tickets you are eligible to purchase.
Military Freedom Pass
The Military Freedom Pass is a deeply discounted ticket for Active Duty, Reservist, National Guard, and Retired members of all branches of the U.S. Military and/or their spouses. As well as 100% Disabled Veterans, and Department of Defense Civilian personnel members.
The Military Freedom Pass is more like an Annual Pass (minus the discounts and special perks) than a regular park ticket. Unlike other theme park ticket options that require guests to purchase a certain number of days. The Military Freedom Pass can be used an unlimited number of times within the valid usage dates (except on blackout days).
Each eligible Military member with valid Military photo ID can exchange a MAXIMUM of 6 promotional tickets per Military ID. An eligible Military member with valid Military photo ID must be present to conduct the ticket exchange for their entire party at the theme park front gate ticket window or Guest Services windows or a Destination Universal Ticket/Services desk within UO Resorts Hotels and/or UO Partner Hotels.
Military Freedom Pass Ticket Options
2-Park Military 2026 Freedom Pass Promotional Ticket entitles one (1) guest unlimited admission to:
▪️Universal Studios Florida AND Universal Islands of Adventure theme parks on the same day.
3-Park Military 2026 Freedom Pass Promotional Ticket entitles one (1) guest unlimited admission to:
▪️Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, AND Universal Volcano Bay theme parks on the same day.

Note: The Military Freedom Pass does NOT include Universal Epic Universe but guests can purchase a 1-Park 1-Day Universal Epic Universe add-on Ticket once they have activated* their Military Freedom Pass.
*Eligible Service Members must activate their Military Freedom Pass with their Military ID at a Universal Orlando Resort Ticket Sales Window, Guest Services Location, or a Vacation Planning Desk in Universal Hotels before adding the add-on ticket.
Guests can purchase add-on tickets for multiple days but only one add-on ticket per date for each 2026 Military Freedom Pass. Each purchase transaction is limited to six (6) tickets. There is no limit to the number of transactions.

The Military Freedom Pass tickets are valid from now through and including December 18, 2026.
Blockout dates apply: December 25, 2025 through and including January 4, 2026; March 30, 2026 through April 6, 2026. Ticket expires in full December 18, 2026.
Universal Orlando Resort Military Discounted Tickets
The other option for Universal Orlando Military Discounted tickets are the NOT Military Freedom Pass tickets. Unlike the Military Freedom Pass tickets, these discounted tickets are available for ALL types of Service Members. Honorably Discharged Veterans can purchase these discounted tickets. These tickets are also available to any Service Member that is eligible to purchase the Military Salute tickets. These tickets can also be “gifted” to non-military family/friends without needing a Military ID for a ticket exchange because once they are purchased, they are ready for use.

What do I do once I have my tickets?
If you purchased the Non-Freedom Pass tickets: Once your order is placed, you will receive a QR code for your ticket order. You can scan that code with the Universal Orlando Resort app.
TO LINK: Tap PROFILE, Then select WALLET. Under ADD TICKETS & PASSES, tap SCAN. Then scan the QR code from your email.
If you purchase the Military Freedom Pass:
Once you have exchanged your voucher for a physical ticket you can link your pass(es) to your account. Then you have go to a theme park entrance and scan your activated pass at the turnstile for the first time. The pass is not fully active until this step.
TO LINK: Tap PROFILE, Then select WALLET. Under ADD TICKETS & PASSES, tap SCAN. Then scan the code on the back of the physical ticket. **Remember to keep your physical ticket.
