Enjoy a Show

One of the most overlooked locations at the Walt Disney World Resort is Disney Springs. While most people know about Disney Springs, they don’t know what is at Disney Springs. Disney Springs has so much more to offer than just the World of Disney. Disney Springs is home to over two dozen different entertainment experiences! Where you can enjoy a movie, a show, or even live music.

At Disney Springs, there are several locations you can enjoy some type of entertainment. If you are looking for a simple night out to enjoy dinner and a movie, there is an AMC Movie Theatre, located on the West Side of Disney Springs.

Another fun and unique date night entertainment option at Disney Springs is Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil® & Disney.
“In this first-ever collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering, journey into a world where an animator’s desk becomes the stage and drawings come alive. The show is a celebration of life, accentuated by the delightful, mesmerizing movements of Cirque du Soleil’s acrobatic mastery.” – DisneySprings.com

If you’re looking for live music, the House of Blues often has bands or artists that will perform right there at the Disney Springs location. There are also many other places to catch live music like at the Waterside Stage in the Marketplace of Disney Springs. You can also catch some fun live entertainment at The Edison, where you can see burlesque-style dancers and incredible aerialists. And another option is Raglan Road™ Irish Pub and Restaurant to enjoy some traditional Irish Step Dancing.

If you’re looking for a fun nightlife activity, then you should roll on over to Disney’s BoardWalk. Located on the boardwalk is Jellyrolls a dueling piano bar. Stop in to enjoy live music, some banter and humor.

This popular nightspot is strictly just for those 21 and over. So if you’re looking for a fun night out away from the kiddos, this is definitely a great option. Jellyrolls does fill up pretty quick, so it’s better to arrive early.

Make sure you check the hours of operation, so you know when the doors open and what the current admission fee is.

Plan for an Enchanting Extra

Many first-time guests are surprised to find out that there are many different activities you can take advantage of while at the Walt Disney World Resort. These fun and unique activities are apart of the Enchanting Extras Collection.

Splitsville Luxury Lanes™ in Disney Springs

While you’re in Disney Springs, consider going bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes™. Located in the West Side of Disney Springs is a full bowling alley. Work up an appetite with a couple rounds of bowling or even a game of pool, before heading to your dinner reservation. And if you’re really looking for a complete date night, start with bowling, then dinner and a movie!

A unique and enchanting activity at the Walt Disney World resort that not many people know about is that you can go Horseback Riding. Located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, you and your partner can go on a scenic, 45 minute afternoon trail ride through the wooded campgrounds.

And in case you aren’t feeling so adventurous, also located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground are horse-drawn carriage rides. These horse-drawn carriage rides are 25 minutes and can be booked for later in the evening, which makes for a very romantic date night excursion.

Book a Dining Event

La Cava del Tequila

There are several dining events at the Walt Disney World Resort. Some are fireworks dining packages were you can book your dinner at one of the participating restaurants at either Epcot or Magic Kingdom and enjoy a meal while watching the fireworks. You can also do the same at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the Fantasmic! Dining Package.

But there are a few additional dining events that would be a fun date night option. The first is at La Cava del Tequila, which is in Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion. Partake in the La Cava Experience where a certified Tequila Ambassador will guide you through a selection of rare and some of the finest tequila in the world.

The other is the Sangria University, where you will go to the Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago, located at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. This educational experience will go over the history of sangria and share the recipes used to make the 4 in-house varieties.

Villa del Lago

There are many Enchanting activities that you and your partner can do on your date night. Whether it’s playing a round of mini golf, booking a fireworks dining package, fireworks dessert cruise or getting up close to the elephants on the Caring for Giants Tour. There really are some truly magical activities for you to do on your perfect Disney Date Night.
