Disney Military Promotional Tickets – aka Military Salute
Often referred to as the Disney Armed Forces Salute tickets, the Disney Military Promotional tickets are deeply discounted tickets for Active Duty, Retired, National Guard, Reservists, and 100% Disabled Veterans (and few other branches). Eligible Service Member ID card examples and eligibility requirements are below.

2024 Walt Disney World Military Promotional Tickets are valid from January 1, 2024 – December 20, 2024. Blackout Dates: March 24, 2024 – April 6, 2024 and November 24, 2024 – November 30, 2024.
Magic Your Way – Disney Military Discounted Tickets
The other option for Disney Military Discounted tickets is the Magic Your Way tickets. Unlike the Military Salute tickets, Magic Your Way tickets are available for ALL types of Service Members. Honorably Discharged Veterans can purchase these discounted tickets. These tickets are also available to any Service Member that is eligible to purchase the Military Salute tickets.
Depending on where you purchase your discounted Military tickets, you may have them in hand or are waiting for them to come in the mail. Most ITT/MWR offices are now selling electronic vouchers that will be emailed to you with your Ticket Confirmation Number. That you will then link to your My Disney Experience account. Once you arrive to Walt Disney World, you will have to go to a Guest Relations, ticketing window or Disney Springs Ticket Center to “validate” your tickets with a military ID.
Shades of Green is one of the few places that actually sells hard shell theme park tickets. Regardless of where you buy your tickets, once you have them, vouchers and regular tickets NEED TO BE LINKED to your My Disney Experience account so you can make your theme park reservations. Every guest in your party needs to have a theme park ticket linked to them and needs a theme park reservation in order to any of the four theme parks.
**Starting January 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. Military Promotional Tickets and the Magic Your Way Tickets are NOT date-based tickets and therefore will still require a theme park reservation.
